PBworks Business Edition customers can email content directly to any workspace in the network. This means that if you want any content to be stored in your workspace, then it's as easy as sending an email.
First click on the workspaces tab of your network home to find the list of workspaces you're a part of. If you don't see these tabs, then you're not at the network home. Click the network name (in the upper right corner) to return to the network home.
Choose the workspace where you would like your email to be stored and place your mouse over that workspace, so that the workspace card appears. With the workspace card shown, click on the Email link, highlighted below.
Copy the email address shown. It's a good idea to save this address in your email contacts so you have easy access the next time you would like send an email.
Adding Content via Email
In your email client, create a new email with the workspace email address in the To:, Cc:, or Bcc: fields. The subject line of this new email will be what the name of the new page will be. The text in the body of the email will be the content of the new page.
Note: If a page already exists with the name that is in the subject line, the new page name will be followed by a number in parentheses. For example, if there was already a page called "Apple", and an email was sent to the workspace with the Subject line of "Apple", the new page name would be "Apple (1)". Content cannot be overwritten when emailing to a workspace.
Attachments
Attachments are handled just like files on a workspace and are included at the foot of the page. If an email is sent to a workspace's inbox and it has attachments, the attachments are automatically uploaded to the workspace and a link to the file is placed in the footer, along with information about the attachments. To prevent accidental overwriting of files, attachments are renamed so the filename leads with the subject of the email. This keeps the file associated with the page when searching for it, and of course, you can always rename the file within the service after it has been uploaded. As in the case for pages, content cannot be overwritten when emailing to a workspace.
Security Limitations
Obviously, this feature allows content to be inserted into any workspace without the need to log in, so every email sent to the workspace address must originate from an email address that has access to the target workspace. If your email address does not match exactly, you'll receive an error message back, by email, and no content will be added to your workspace.
