Tip: If the contents of a folder on your workspace needs its own users list, settings, and pages and files manager, it's probably best to create a new workspace and move the contents into it.
- Click on the Pages & Files tab to access the Pages & Files manager:
- Select the pages, files, or folders you wish to move by checking their checkboxes, and then click the move button:
If you only need to move one item, click on "Move" in the item's menu card.
- By default, the workspace the content is currently in is selected. If you need to do a local move (moving from one folder to another), then simply click on the folder you want to move the content to.
- To select a different workspace, click the dropdown to see the list of workspaces you have access to. When you select a workspace, the list of folders in that workspace is shown, and you will be able to select the folder from that list.
Tip: If your list of workspaces is very long, you can easily type in the search box that is shown and filter the workspaces by name. In the example below, all available workspaces with "M" are shown.
- With the workspace you want to move to selected, click on the folder you want to move the page to, and click "Move".
To save some clicks, you can also click and drag pages into their folders. Just check the boxes of the pages or files you wish to move and drag them into the correct folder, just as you would with your operating system. This is only available when moving content within the workspace. There is no method to drag and drop files from one workspace to another.
Tip: When viewing a page or the summary file page, you can also use the "Page Options" menu to move the page. If you do not see these options when viewing a page, then you do not have permission on the workspace to change the folder of this page.
