Workspace Types are a great way to improve efficiency in creating workspaces.  If you find yourself creating the same pages and uploading the same files whenever you create a new workspace on your network, you may want to consider creating a workspace type to eliminate some of that work.  Workspaces created as a type can be used for default content, when creating new workspaces.

Here's what a workspace created from a workspace type includes:

  • Latest revision of all pages and files (without past revisions)
  • All folders
  • All page templates
  • All milestones and tasks (name, order, due date, assignee)
  • Workspace customization settings: Colors, Logo

The following are not included:

  • Past revisions of pages and files
  • Comments on pages
  • User permissions
  • Milestone and task updates, including comments, links
