Note: The Audit Log setting is only available in the Legal and Medical Editions of PBworks.

 

About

The Audit Log setting provides a workspace moderator with more information regarding who exactly has viewed pages and files in the workspace.  Every page view is recorded, along with the corresponding IP address of the connection.

 

 

Key features

 

  • Download History:



    Click here to download the complete history of users that have accessed pages and files on this workspace.  This log cannot be modified by any users, even PBworks Admins, and so it is a clear and definitive listing of who has accessed the pages and files of the workspace.

  • Filter by user and IP address:

    Clicking on either the User or IP address listed will filter the week's actions list by a specific user or IP address. 



    In the example below, only visits by Edward Kelly are shown.  The complete history is just a simple CSV file, however, that file can be opened in Excel or any spreadsheet program to be sorted using those tools.
