The PBworks Admin is the person whose responsibility it is to update and maintain the content of the Home tab.  If the Home tab content is a generic "Welcome to PBworks" message, then that means the PBworks Admin has not yet set a page on the network to serve as the home tab. 

 

The PBworks Admin also has access to the Admin panel, and is the only user account authorized to delete any user.  A PBworks Admin account can only be added to a workspace as a workspace Moderator, and nothing in the network can be hidden from someone with PBworks Admin status.

 

To find your PBworks Admin:

 

  1. First, click the "Users" tab that appears along the top of the network.  This may be named differently, depending on the settings of the network, but it is tab which lists all users within the network, directly next to the "Workspaces" listing.



  2. Check the "Filter People" box so that only PBworks Admins are shown.  These are the only users that have access to the "Admin" panel, and so they are the only users that can set a workspace page to be the content for the network home tab.
